Background

Panasonic opened their game subsidiary to support the 3DO, the system they helped to develop, though they also supported PC and Mac. They started releasing games in 1993, and continued up until May 1996, followed by the demise of the 3DO console. The interactive division was dissolved in 1999.

1st Logo (1994-1997)

Visuals: On a brown mosaic background, letters of the company name fly one-by-one, forming the corporate Panasonic logo and the words "Software Company" in white below. Then a rainbow streak tears the edge of background, revealing a starry background. Seven multicolored dots fly from there and change the logo into white.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Electric humming slowly turning into a simple synth note, and the sound of tearing paper.

Availability: It was seen mainly on numerous 3DO games, but also appeared on Baldies and Isis for PC.

2nd Logo (1998)

Visuals: Over a black background is the corporate logo moving in perspective view. It then pans over the screen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A bell-like synth theme.

Availability: Seen on Enemy Infestation and Titanic: Challenge of Discovery.
