Background

NorthStar Entertainment Group was a division of the Christian Broadcasting Network. Incorporated on July 11, 1984, it was previously named "CBN Cable Productions" and "CBN Producers Group" before renaming to its then-current name on May 3, 1990.[1]

Logo (September 2, 1990-September 30, 1995)


Visuals: On a space background, a multicolored star in blue, purple, red, and gold zooms in from the top right section of the screen. Simultaneously, a brush stroke in the same color palette as the star and the company name in a silver texture zooms out from the bottom. The former object rests behind the star with the latter positioned on the top right of the stroke. Then, the logo shines.

Variant: A shortened variant exists.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: With a low synth note in the background, there is a descending whoosh and then four ascending chimes. Otherwise, the ending theme of the show.

Availability: It was seen on Big Brother Jake, That's My Dog, and the CBS Schoolbreak Specials Sexual Considerations and If I Die Before I Wake. It is intact on modern printings of Clarence including streaming releases. The logo with its music was only seen on That's My Dog.
