Logo (2012)

1st Logo (1994-1995)

Visuals: On a white background, a white line comes out from the bottom and starts drawing part of the outline from the NTV logo of the time, while the green ball drops down into the bottom of the T. When the outline zooms in, it turns into a rolling filmstrip; and when the outline spins and slowes down, the NTV logo is shown in each of the frames. The logo gets faster again on spinning as it turns into the finished white NTV logo when the background wipes to black. After the logo places, the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" appears letter-by-letter near the top of the text, and the "T" of the logo turns white. The NTV letters and the Russian text fade out, leaving the green ball, which also fades out after half a second.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A powerful synth orchestra fanfare with electronic drums, with ascending bells when the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" appears. This was composed by Sergey Miklashevsky.

Availability: Was used on early NTV original productions.

2nd Logo (1995-1997)

Visuals: The logo starts with a footage of a city at night; it zooms into the night sky and the emerging blue NTV logo with the green ball, which is now done is a more modern style (the font of the letters resembles ITC Lubalin Graph Bold; the outline of these letters is much thicker and a green ball is shown on the bottom of a letter T), fades in. The logo then turns white as the background fades to a white-black gradient, and moves down. The word "теле" moves in near the top and black lines wipe in below it, placing behind the logo. Meanwhile, a black box grows in behind "теле", along with the word "КОМПАНИЯ" below it, and the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" also appears, but at the bottom of the screen. Both of these words make their appearance letter-by-letter.

Technique: It starts out fully live-action, then it transitions into 2D computer animation.

Audio: Piano city music that engulfs into violin/xylophone music. This was composed by Sergey Chekryzhov, who also composed most of the 1995-96 NTV branding.

3rd Logo (1997-1999, 2001)

Visuals: On a black background, the green ball of the logo is seen. The letters of the logo, without a lot of animation (it is represented by fades), grows into the screen for two times. The word "представляет" flips in below letter-by-letter.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: An orchestral theme.

Availability: Seen on Герой дня (Hero of the day).

4th Logo (1997-2001)

Visuals: A green flash occurs and a green ball appears, which zooms out on a green fog background. A black line appears at the center and the text "телекомпания нтв представляет" flashes in on it.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A choir with a zapping sound and a swoosh.

Availability: Was used for some special programs and used in tandem with the previous and next logos.

5th Logo (1998-2001)

Visuals: A light-sky blue news background with deep blue circle lines zooming out from the NTV logo, which is spinning. Meanwhile, the word "presents" in Russia is scrolling from left to right while the text "tv company ntv" in the same language is scrolling in the opposing directions.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: Part of the news theme.

6th Logo (2001-2007)

Visuals: A blue background is shown, on which white waves are passing (the word "телекомпания" is written at the bottom in Russell Square font). Then, three squares with the image of this wave are shown on a black background for exactly 1 second in the center of the screen, after which the NTV logo appears on a blue background not far from the waves from a beam of light, with the caption "представляет" in the same font.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A two-note synth bass throughout the entire logo, accompanied by a strange synth hum with a whoosh, a dramatic four-note new-age synth theme, a percussion, another whoosh, and finally rising string note. It's a stock piece called "Digital Drums", composed by Joseph Saba and Stewart Winter, off the VideoHelper album "VH001: Sports & Percussion".

7th Logo (2003)

Visuals: Against the background of the continuity ID from the time, a diminishing light green stripe runs in the center, and the text "НТВ ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" (with "НТВ" being the logo) gradually projects.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A three-note synth bell theme with the last note held out. Composed by Oleg Emirov.

8th Logo (2007-2014)

Visuals: Same as the interregional (outside of Moscow) advertising ID from the time, with the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" appearing letter-by-letter below the NTV logo.

Variants:

A short variant exists where it simply has the NTV logo inside a green square above an illuminated white surface; and the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" is already there.
- Though sometimes, the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" is absent.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: Same as interregional advertising ID from the time, but edited slightly.

Audio Variant: A short variant simply has a reverse synth with a whoosh (which is actually the last 2 seconds of a long variant theme, excluding a whoosh).

9th Logo (2014-2017)

Visuals: Same as interregional advertising ID from the time, but abridged slightly, with the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" appearing letter-by-letter below the NTV logo (a la 8th logo).

Variant: A long variant of the logo exists.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: Same as interregional advertising ID from the time, but abridged slightly. A long variant has the extended version.

Availability: Can be spotted on newer NTV shows.

10th Logo (2017-)

Visuals: On a dark foggy background, the NTV print logo is forming through a blue lightning globe. As the lightning globe disappears, a green ball of the logo flashes and the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" (in Stolzl font) fades in below.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A majestic 3-note horn fanfare with synth effect sounds.

Unused Logo

Logo (2012)

Visuals: On a black background with a blue light at the bottom-left corner, a close-up of a shiny, crystal-like thing is seen with a green glowing ball in the center of it. A crystal-like thing rotates and zooms out, to reveal that it's actually the NTV logo. A glossy black square appears from the left side of the screen and quickly turns green, while making its postion behind the logo. The word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" (in Myraid Pro font) in spaced-out letters (similar to the 8th and 9th logos) quickly fades in below letter-by-letter.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A synth theme similar to the 6th and 8th logos.

Availability: Unused. It can only be seen on Menkov Alexandr's Vimeo upload.
