Morodok Productions

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st logo (1998-2003)

Visuals: There is a Khmer buddha stone statue on a black background. A flare passes through the top-left to bottom-right corners, then two lines of text zooms in from the center to the top and bottom, the top being the red Khmer "ផលិតកម្មមរតក", and the bottom being a turquoise "MORODOK PRODUCTION", both with a yellow 3D bevel. The texts then zooms out to the center, and another flare appears moving in the inverse way.

Technique: A mix of 2D and 3D CGI.

Audio: A dramatic movie-like string orchestral score, which is called “Feste Romane (Roman Festivals), P. 157” by James DePreist & Oregon Symphony.

Availability: Seen on early releases, including reissues of golden era Cambodian films like បញ្ចពណ៍ទេវី.

2nd logo (2003-)

Visuals: On a blue space background, a spinning rock/asteroid zooms into the screen and then self-destructs, with fiery particles emerging from the middle. A small twinkle then appears in the middle of the screen, in which a stone Buddha head emerges from it and zooms in. Cambodian text in red with yellow fronts comes in and rotates into place, formed as an arc. Another pair of it rotates into place and and shines.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A rapidly ascending piano theme at the beginning (which sounds like the first two seconds of the Tiny Toon Adventures theme song), followed by the explosion, and then a clipping, monotone stock MIDI theme with piano and drums, with a xylophone glissando, before ending with two bombastic brass notes (actually "finish.wav" from the Game Maker tutorial "Adding Depth"). Part of the same music was also used from the 2002 Prum Meas logo of the same country.

Availability: It was seen on karaoke video releases. [Examples?]
