Background

Mingxing Film Company was one of the largest production companies during the 1920s, and 1930s in the Republican era. Founded in Shanghai, the company lasted from 1922 until 1937 when it was closed permanently by the Second Sino-Japanese War.

Logo (1931-1937)


Visuals: On a black background, a gray star is seen. The sunburst fades in spinning behind the star, and 14 stars are seen spinning to encircle the star. Four Chinese characters, which translate to "MINGXING PRESENTS", zoom in. The sunburst and 14 stars are still spinning until the logo fades out.

Variant: On Crossroads, the logo is darker.
