It immediately flashes, and the background changes back to normal as the circle glows yellow and stops. The bottom text "MTI Film & Video" fades in. The top text "Distributed by" fades in as well.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on The Immigrant Experience: The Long Long Journey, Women, Drugs, and Alcohol, and Booker.

2nd Logo (Late 1980s)

Visuals: On a moving cloud background, there is a camera lens, with its edges shining. There are the same letters from the 1st logo. There is a film reel inside going left, and a videotape as well. The words "MTI Film & Video" go left. As they do that, a rainbow appears in the background. After it disappears, the lens zooms away as the MTI symbol from the 1st logo, but in gray, zooms in. The words "MTI Film & Video" fade in below, which shine as well.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Calm 80s soundtrack.
