3rd Logo (Early 1980s-1985)

4th Logo (1986-1988)

Visuals: On a blue/black gradient space background, a fluorescent yellow light is seen in the center. It grows bigger and bigger before flashing, leaving behind an outline of the "LW" from before. The "LW" shines twice and the Mandarin translation appears one by one in cyan, with "LO WEI MOTION PICTURE COMPANY LIMITED" zooming out with a cyan light trail.

Technique: Backlit animation.

Audio: A deep whooshing synth, followed by descending bells when the logo shines, then a bombastic fanfare (the KPM track "Fanfare (1)" by Neil Richardson).
