Background

Leverage Entertainment is the production company of Stephen Levinson.

1st Logo (July 18, 2004-October 26, 2014)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a gray square with a tall letter "L" and the text "leverage" in it.

Early Variant: On seasons 1 and 2 of Entourage, the gray is a small vertical rectangle against a black background. The logo is contained within it.

Trivia: Something to note is that this logo either always precedes or follows the logo for Mark Wahlberg's Closest to the Hole Productions. Levinson serves as Wahlberg's talent manager.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on In Treatment, Boardwalk Empire and the first four seasons of Entourage on HBO.

2nd Logo (June 17, 2007-)

Visuals: The L flickers in with a ghastly crooked shape. "leverage" is mostly formed but slightly bent before it readjusts itself. The L wiggles for a bit whilst a blue tint flies towards it, only for the tint to disappear. The L settles into place as the logo shines.

Variants:

  • On Shooter from season 2 onward, this logo and the Closest to the Hole, Universal Cable Productions and Paramount Television logos, are sped up so that the end theme finishes over all of them.
  • On Home Game, the logo is next to the Closest to the Hole logo.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The end theme of the show or none.

Availability: Seen on Entourage starting with season 4, season 4 of In Treatment, the failed pilot of Home Game, How to Make It in America, Wahlburgers, Shooter (the TV series) and Ballers.
