These are the logo variations seen on trailer throughout the years by Legendary Pictures, with more to be added overtime.

Beerfest (2006): On the trailers and TV spots, the logo is transparent and put upon on beer glass.


We Are Marshall (2006): The logo is transparent and put upon the sky background along with the Warner Bros. Pictures logo.


The Ant Bully (2006): The logo takes place in Lucas Nickle's neighborhood. Seen only on the international trailer.


300 (2007): The logo is red.


10,000 B.C. (2008): The logo is light blue and made out of stone, with "PICTURES" being in the same proportion as "LEGENDARY".


The Dark Knight (2008): On Trailer 1, the logo is in black & white.

On Trailer 2, the logo is blue and comes out of the Batman insignia-shaped smoke.


Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter (2009): The logo is tinted yellow, along with the Warner Premire, Paramount and DC logos.


Watchmen (2009): The logo is dark gray and icterine on a stormy cloud background, just like the Warner Bros., DC Entertainment, and Paramount versions.

On the TV spots, the logo shares the screen with the Warner Bros., Paramount and DC Comics logos.


Where the Wild Things Are (2009): On the trailer for corresponding game, it is made of paper and is on a green background.

On another trailer, the logo shares the screen with the Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow logos.


Ninja Assassin (2009): On the TV spot, the logo is fuzzy wuzzy brown with the other logos.


Trick 'r Treat (2009): This was seen on two trailers in which the movie was supposed to come out in 2007 but then moved back to 2008. Later, the movie was moved to DVD in 2009. The first two trailers had the logo in black and white. But as the movie release date kept changing, the logo went back to normal in the future trailer.

On the first two trailers, the logo is in black & white.


Clash of the Titans (2010): On Trailer 1, the logo is metallic and put upon a cloudy background.

On Trailer 2, the logo is still metallic but in 3-D and put on a gray smoky background.


Inception (2010): The logo is gray with buildings mounted onto it. Only on the trailer along with the Warner Bros. Pictures logo and Syncopy logo.


Jonah Hex (2010): The logo is metallic and burning. Only on the trailer along with the Warner Bros. shield and DC Comics logo.

On the 1st TV spot, the logo is black and put upon a desert background.

On the 2nd TV spot, it's the same as in the trailers, but it's not burning. It is also put upon a black background.


The Town (2010): The logo is metallic silver along with the Warner Bros. shield.


Sucker Punch (2011): The logo is black and burned in with smoke clouds from black background. Only on the first teaser trailer shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2010.

On the second trailer, the logo is made of stone.


The Dark Knight Rises (2012): The logo is grey and metallic and zooms out slowly on a dark, stormy background.

On the teaser trailer, the logo is metalic and tinted in navy blue and zooms in with dark blue smoke clouds blooming behind it.

On the fourth TV spot, the logo is silver in front of a dark blue stormy background.


Jack the Giant Slayer (2013): The logo is made from concrete-like substance. Only on the trailer.


Man of Steel (2013): The logo is made of steel upon a black background.

On offical trailer the logo has static signal.

On the third TV spot, the logo is beside the Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Comics and Syncopy logos.


Pacific Rim (2013): The logo is tinted gold.


On one TV spot, it's the same as the first trailer, but with the WB logo beside it.


On the second trailer, it is tinted silver and is behind the Warner Bros logo.


300: Rise of an Empire (2014): The logo, followed by the Warner Bros. Pictures logo, is dark silver on a smoky background.

  • On the TV Spot, it's the same variant, but the logo shares the screen with WB logo.

Godzilla (2014): The logo is white, and is placed next to the Warner Bros. Pictures logo. Only seen on the trailer.


On the full trailer, it is tinted red on a blood red sky background.


On another trailer, it's the same as above, but beside the Warner Bros. Pictures logo.


Interstellar (2014): The logo is placed on a space background.


Dracula Untold (2014): The logo is on a black background.


Jurassic World (2015): The logo is placed on the Universal Pictures, which is animating in reverse.


Seventh Son (2015): In the original trailer (before it was delayed to 2015 due to the change in distributor), it is silver on a firey background.


Crimson Peak (2015): In the teaser trailer, the logo is tinted in crimson red.

On another trailer, the logo is placed on a pool of blood.


Krampus (2015): The logo is in cold blue, with "LEGENDARY" frozen. Also, snowfall is seen in the background.


Kong Skull Island (2017): The logo is golden, and is on a black background.

On one trailer, the logo is on a blue film projector reel and is in black and white.


Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (2019): The logo, along with the WB and The Pokémon Company logos, appear in neon yellow and blue.

On the second trailer, this, the WB logo, and The Pokémon Company logo are all neon yellow (having the same neon style from the first trailer) and are put on a wall.


Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019): The logo, in a cyan color, appears from a teal smoke background, with debris and sparks flying about.

On the second trailer, it's the same variant, but the logo shares the screen with WB logo.


Godzilla vs. Kong (2021): On one trailer, the print logo is light gray and is put on a black background, with the Warner Bros. Pictures logo next to it.


Dune (2021): The logo is in bronze and sand falls on the logo.


A Christmas Story Christmas (2022): Same as the film itself. It starts where the logo glows in red and green.


The Machine (2023): Same as the film itself.


Dune: Part Two (2024):

  • Similar to the previous film's trailer variant, the logo is the sand/spice/stars are absent, and the background features a brown light.
  • On the second trailer, it's the same variant, but the logo shares the screen with WB logo.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024):

  • The logo are upon a blue/purple space cloud background.
  • On the TV Spot, it's the same variant, but the logo shares the screen with WB logo.
