Laughing Monkeys

Background

This is the vanity plate of Melissa Carter.

Visuals: On a tan bark-like background, there are four small gray monkeys, all of which are making different poses. The first one is seen hanging upside down holding some cymbals. The other three in order are like this: covering their eyes, blocking their ears and covering their mouth (which represents the famous monkey trio of "See No Evil", "Hear No Evil" and "Speak No Evil", better known as the three wise monkeys). In between them is "LAUGHING MONKEYS" in an art deco-like font. All of the monkeys move briefly during this.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A three-note jungle theme combined with the brief sounds of monkeys chittering.

Availability: Seen on seasons 1-2 of The Cleaning Lady.
