Background

J Storm, Inc. is the film and music division of Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates which was formed in 2001 as a label for Arashi. In 2024, due to scandals surrounding Johnny's Entertainment and the separation of its firms, the division was renamed to Storm Labels.

1st Logo (2001-2006)

Visuals: The logo starts with a black screen before it flashes in a green light, briefly revealing a zooming logo consisting of a diagonal-style oval with two spiky ends, containing multiple circular outlines inside with a large "JS" at the front, with the "J" in form of a musical note and the "S" placed below the clef of it, accompanied by the name "J STORM" below. Once the flash disappears, a green light passes horizontally while the same logo slides in quickly towards the right before moving back and zooming out to the center. The screen keeps flashing in green, and for a brief moment a white screen with the black "J STORM" text is shown. Next up is a camouflage background with the "J STORM" text aligned to the left and the logo placed at the right below it. The camouflage background fades out, leaving the logo elements with a grungey turquoise-shaded texture.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A quick drum fill accompanied by high-pitched whooshing sounds.

Availability: It was seen on the DVD release of Fantastipo.

2nd Logo (2006-2023)

Visuals: On a flashing golden background, "JS" in an abstract font with the text "J Storm" spins very fast. During the whole animation, there are some flashing lights and comets that strike a gold metal surface, making the entire logo shining.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A robotic voice saying "J Storm!" along with synth slamming.

Availability: Seen on the label's video releases. [Examples?]
