Background
IBM (fully known as International Business Machines Corporation) is an New York-based multinational technology corporation originally founded in 1911. The company produces and sells computer hardware and software as well as hosting and consulting services. Some of their best-known products include the ThinkPad line of laptops (which was purchased, alongside the rest of their PC business, by Lenovo in 2005) and the original IBM PC.
