Background

Hori Electric is a Japanese peripheral manufacturer that produced accessories for the Sega and Nintendo consoles. Besides all that the company begin producing three video games for both the SNES, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance.

1st Logo (July 1-22, 1994)

Visuals: On a light blue background, there is a blue square with two squares inside (one red at the top and one white at the bottom). To the right is the black word "HORI" in a geometric font.

Variant: On Rock'n! Monster!! for SGB, the background is light red, and two copies of the logo slides from the left and right screens to make the logo complete.

Technique: None, depends on the variant.

Audio: None.

Availability: Only seen on the 1994 SFC game of Jigsaw Party and the 1994 SGB game of Rock'n! Monster!!.

2nd Logo (December 13, 2001)

Visuals: Same as the previous logo, except it has 4 black rectangles with the text "HORI" in it. Plus, the background is white.

Technique: A still, sprite-based graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Only seen on the 2001 GBA game of Dai Mahjong.
