Logo (1980s)
Visuals: On a space background, lines form a theater sign. Then the words "MOVIE SPECIAL" appear. Later "MOVIE SPECIAL" is cheaply replaced with "DIRECT VIDEO SERVICE". Then it cuts to the last half of the 2nd VCL logo, where a growing spark gives way to a gold ring, but it was silver, the Earth appears and spins; and the words "HOLLYWOOD HOME VIDEO" slide, before ending in the same way as the international variant of the VCL logo: reversing.
Technique: '80s computer animation and Cascom stock footage.
Audio: A synth disco theme.
