Highland Entertainment

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st Logo (April 1999-2000)

Visuals: There is a red ball with the curved silver text "HIGHLAND PRODUCTIONS" on top of it. Behind the logo, there's an old video of two boys and a girl standing near a merry-go-round at a carnival or circus, holding lollipops. The text shines, and then the logo shrinks and places itself over the girl's lollipop.

Technique: CGI, live-action, and some chroma-key/superimposing effects.

Audio: A circus-like fanfare with a group of children saying "Highland!" and laughing.

Availability: Only known to have been seen on the Disney Channel series Z Games, which hasn't been reran in decades.

2nd Logo (October 21, 2000-October 26, 2002)

Visuals: There is a home video of three kids standing at a gumball machine outside. A girl proudly displays one in her hand towards the camera, and something shoots out from her hand. As the other children next to her watch, the background fades to black as it's revealed the object is the logo from before, but now the ball is smaller, the text is in gray instead of silver, and it now reads "HIGHLAND ENTERTAINMENT".

Technique: CGI, live-action, and some chroma-key effects like before.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: This was seen on Real Scary Stories (a.k.a. Scary but True), which was last reran on Chiller in 2010.
