Background

High Moon Studios (formerly Sammy Entertainment and Sammy Studios) is an American video game developer initially formed in 2001 under Japanese game retailer Sammy. After splitting off its parent company in March 2005, the developer was acquired by Vivendi Games in January 2006 and was placed under Sierra Entertainment. It is now owned by Activision Blizzard. High Moon has developed multiple Transformers video games and assisted in the development of select Call of Duty games, as well as Destiny.

1st Logo (August 16, 2005-June 29, 2011)


Visuals: On a black background, there is a blue moon. Below it is the text "HIGH MOON" in a tall font, and underneath is the text "STUDIOS". The logo is surrounded by a glow.

Variant: On the Transformers games developed by the studio, an animated version exists. On a space background, a moon zooms out from a light effect, and robotic pieces form a broken copy of the text. Then robotic pieces turn into the text and then the moon transforms into the standard logo.
