Background

Henson Independent Properties (HIP) is The Jim Henson Company’s third-party licensing banner formed initially in 2009 to acquire and service global media distribution and consumer products programs for external entertainment properties and brands. Key titles represented by HIP include Elias: Rescue Team Adventures (produced by Animando and CAOZ Animation), The High-Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange (produced by Studio71) and Teddy Ruxpin (produced by Alchemy II, Inc).

Logo (2014-)

Visuals: A mandala-like green and blue object with white markings inside that in turn have triangle and circle shapes in them and a spiky star-shaped center (the original 1970 logo for Henson Associates that never appeared on-screen) bounces in from the right. When it hits the left side, it bounces back and turns magenta and orange. The orange text "HiP" with a magenta trademark to its right appears to the mandela's right. The magenta text "Distributed by" appears above "HiP". The logo zooms in very slightly.

Variant: On some prints of Elias: Rescue Team Adventures, the logo is in warp-speed.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Four acoustic guitar notes.

Availability: Can be seen on American prints of Elias: Rescue Team Adventures and uploads of The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin on both official The Jim Henson Company YouTube channels and Amazon Prime Video.
