Background

Grace & Wild Interactive Development was a DVD authoring company owned by post-production studio Grace & Wild.

Logo (2000-2004)


Visuals: There is a line of rings zooming in quickly, the screen pans out of the final ring to reveal that it is a billboard with neon lights that read "AUTHORED BY", below it is black text that reads "Grace & Wild", with a neon sign of lowercase "i" with a curve to make it look like an uppercase "D" behind the ampersand, below all this is a neon sign that reads "INTERACTIVE DEVELOPMENT", the screen pans around this billboard.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Whirring sounds at the beginning, followed by a low humming note, and buzzing from the flickering lights.

Availability: Seen at the end of Anchor Bay DVDs such as Paula Abdul - Cardio Dance, and appeared at the beginning on the early U.S. DVDs of Thomas & Friends from 2001-02, being preceded by the 1998 Anchor Bay Entertainment logo. It makes a surprise appearance on the 2003 release Thomas and his Friends Help Out, but is removed in later prints. as well as the 2004 Viz Video DVD reprint of Pokemon - Primeape Problems.

Legacy: This logo's design is known to have had people mistake the company's name as "Grace D. Wild Interactive Development".
