Logo (1994-1996)

Visuals: A man made of compact discs stands in the middle of a giant compact disc that's on a purple surface. The sky is a pale dark blue. The disc man stops from his pose, gets himself good and ready to throw something by spinning a couple times, and throws a CD he was holding. The CD flies behind the man and even off the surface the man was on, which is apparently a planet. Once it's out of frame, the "planet" turns black with a purple light shining from the northwest part of it. Below, there are the words "FUTURE VISION" while below it in a smaller font, "MULTIMEDIA". The disc comes back and fades to a white streak of light that completes the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A futuristic new-age tune.

Availability: Probably on old software from Softkey. Your best bet is to look in your local thrift store.
