Background

Funkenhauser Productions is a Norwegian television production company founded in 2010 by Bård Tufte Johansen , Harald Eia , Stina Greaker and Lars Hognestad. On 25 June 2013, Feelgood Scene Film & TV purchased the company and the crew moved over to their new owners[1]

Logo (2 November 2010-13 May 2013)

Visuals: There are two early 20th-century era soldiers kicking down a sign that reads "funkenhauser" in a curvy, interconnected font with a red dot inside of the "a"'s counter. While the sign is falling from the building, the footage plays in reverse. Simultaneously, "entertainment durch experience!" zoom out individually with a blur effect. When the sign is back on the building, a large transparent copy of the "a" inside an outline circle briefly appears on the top left corner of the screen. The red dot then emits a circular wave, followed by the large "a" copy from earlier appearing again.

Technique: Live-action and CGI.

Audio: The company name is said in reverse alongside a muffled organ jingle. In the middle of the sequence, the audio is forwarded, ending the jingle with a three note stinger and "Funkenhauser!" said normally. There is also a film projector sound effect throughout the logo alongside the sign getting kicked down.

Availability: Seen on Storbynatt, the first season of I Kveld med Ylvis, and Verdens beste ferie.
