Background

Front Street Pictures is a vertically-integrated production company based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

1st Logo (December 13, 2008-2013)

Visuals: On a white background, there is a minimalist drawing of the corner of a sidewalk alongside a part of a building, a street lamppost, and a man with a white hat and a cane. Parallel and underneath of the sidewalk reads "FRONT STREET PICTURES".

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Can be seen on The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (2008), Freshman Father, and The Haunting Hour.

2nd Logo (2013-)

Visuals: An old film effect and tube shape with a vignette is seen overlaying the logo against a striped, tan background with the center more brighter. The logo itself is more detailed than the previous logo, only the details of the buildings (now with more) as well as the street lamppost are to the left of the corner of the sidewalk whereas the man with the cane remains in the same position as last time. The lamppost can be seen lighting up, followed by "FRONT STREET PICTURES" in white and with a 3D effect appearing one letter randomly.

Variants:

  • A still version exists.
  • There is also an extended version of the logo where the background is black and the man is walking a few steps before landing his cane to the ground.
  • On The Irresistible Blueberry Farm, the logo appears side by side with the Bookmark Entertainment logo.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A nine-note piano theme or the ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on programs from this period such as Looks Like Christmas, the pilot of Cedar Cove, and The Irresistible Blueberry Farm.
