This is something I was testing a few times, but did not exactly get the results I wanted: the redirected page keeps both the mainspace and draft articles with the former in a redirect. This is something that isn't like Wikipedia's draft system, removing their names from search results. However, Logohub tried this with one article and has the mainspace one deleted. I know the draft system isn't quite ready yet and admins are likely the one type of users who have the capability of deleting the old pages through redirects, but is the mainspace article being kept on the search engine on this site intentional or not?

Currently only admins are able to move pages without a redirect. Perhaps this is something that can be changed at ManageWiki
