FanFare Productions

Background

FanFare Productions is the production company of Jamie Tarses, a television producer and studio executive who served as the president of ABC from 1996 to 1999, the first woman and one of the youngest people to hold such a post in an American broadcast network. Her brother Matt, also owns a production company, Two Soups Productions. The company is under an overall deal with Sony Pictures Television. Tarses had a stroke in the fall of 2020, spent time in a coma and died in Los Angeles on February 1, 2021, at age 56, from what a family spokesperson called "complications of a cardiac event". On January 12, 2022, it was announced that the company would carry on by being run by Tarses' executive McCrae Dunlap (who had previously steered the company while Tarses was hospitalized and following her death) with Kapital Entertainment and the support of Tarses’ family taking stake.

Visuals: On a red background with a carpet texture, there is a framed photo of a castle to the left. Then, a trumpet comes out with a turquoise flag on it reading "FANFARE" on it. The photo is tilted when the trumpet pops out.

Technique: CGI by Chargefield and produced by DECOSTA.

Audio: The sound of a kid mocking a "Ta-da!" (sounding like a trumpet singing "Hello!") accompanied by a triumphant fanfare. Sometimes, the closing theme is used instead or it's silent.
