Background

Evans Woolfe Media is a British educational media production company established in 1991.



1st Logo (December 1994-1997)

Visuals: The wolf from before is wagging its tail while standing on a grided floor. Over the creature is "An Evans Woolfe Production", a co-producer's name, and the copyright notice in red.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on an Ann Summers documentary and Mine's An Alcopop.

2nd Logo (1995)

Visuals: On an illuminated wall, a rough drawing of a wolf is seen with a clapperboard for a face. Underneath the logo is "an EVANS WOOLFE production" alongside additional in-credit information, which includes a co-producer and channel's name. The copyright notice is included below in red.

Variant: On episode 7 of Fighting Back, the wolf is underneath the in-credit information and the copyright notice is black.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Fighting Back.

3rd Logo (1999)

Visuals: On a black background, a white box on the top right expands and reveals the same wolf from the previous logos. It looks towards the left while opening its mouth. When the canine closes its jaw, the same text from before is shown on the left in a normal font. On the bottom of the screen, the copyright notice is gray.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A clapperboard sound when the wolf closes its jaw.

Availability: Can be seen on Making the Grade.

4th Logo (2000s)

Visuals: This is an in-credit logo, consisting of the wolf from before next to the company's credit information.

Variant: If the background is black, the wolf's color is inverted.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Seen on The Market and Teaching with Bayley.

5th Logo (2010s)

Visuals: Like the previous logo, this is an in-credit logo. It essentially consists of the company name in a thin font on top of a purple underline.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Seen on their more recent projects such as Where in the World.
