Ecseco Software

1st logo (October 20, 1995)

Visuals: On a black background, a golden rectangle comes zooming towards up while rotating, along with another rectangle flickering between white and brown. The aforementioned rectangle disappears, revealing that the golden rectangle actually is formed of several letters combined together as it stops spinning and the letters spread out while smaller ones drop out from below. As they fill the screen, they then zoom out to reveal the text reads "ECSECO" in a strange-looking font, followed by "SOFTWARE" in a Arial font. The flickering rectangle also returns, though now paired with a sphere and another, non-flickering rectangle on the other side to form a "N" shape. The logo then stops in place, the rectangle no longer flickering.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A rising whoosh ending with a screech, followed by the sound of a motor running and another whoosh. A synthesized whoosh then plays as the logo zooms out, followed by a shine sound and a soft strum of a guitar.

Availability: Seen on the Playstation/Sega Saturn compilation of Thunder Storm LX-3 & Road Blaster.

Legacy: A rather shoddily animated logo, from awkward cameras to animation errors.

2nd logo (January 17, 1997)

Visuals: On a black background, there are several golden pieces rotating around a center axis as it zooms out from off-screen. After the pieces stop zooming out, they form up an outlined version of the "N" shape for a second. After that second, the logo quickly zooms in while rotating down to its side, revealing that it forms up the same "ECSECO" text from before, sans some shading on some parts, and then it zooms out to the right. While this happens "SOFTWARE" rises up from below and a filled version of the logo comes in from the left right before they immediately shatter piece by piece as another version of the logo fades in. This version is still in gold, but its entirely outlined and appears to be "breaking" in some places (actually an odd shadow effect), and takes place on a smoky grey background. This also lasts a short time as a lens flare turns the entire screen white with the logo fading in, this time in blue.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An intense action-inspired synth piece.

Availability: Seen on the Sega Saturn port of Time Gal and Ninja Hayate.
