Eagle 6 Video

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (1983-1990s)

Visuals: Same as the 1st American National Enterprises logo, but the logo is altered to remove all traces of the original name: the first clip zooms into the eagle, and the second clip starts just when the eagle starts to land. Starting in the second clip, the screen darkens slightly as a translucent white frame made of 2 hexagons, with the top one being elongated to fit the text "EAGLE" and the bottom having a "6" in it, zooms in and settles just above the eagle. The marquee also has a drop shadow and shading along one of the corners. The marquee disappears and the screen returns to normal brightness as the music ends and it cuts to the eagle looking into the camera.

Technique: A zooming card chroma-keyed over the live-action footage.

Audio: An uplifting orchestral tune that sounds like something off an '80s news program. This tune can also be heard at the warning screen.

Availability: On old Dutch PAL tapes from the 1980s. [Examples?]
