Variant bumpers on TV/VHS

From a lot of YouTube browsing, I've found that TV networks (both pay TV and free to air) had variant bumpers - complete with voiceover. Mostly they were based on the network's on air presentation but some were custom made for specific shows/movies (Channel 9 and Channel 10 commonly customised the bumpers for specific shows/movies). For the most part, these bumpers have died out in favour of in-program bugs (though some networks still use bumpers). Zampakid has plenty of material on their YouTube channel documenting these TV network bumpers (mainly centred around Channel 7, Channel 9 and Channel 10 - along with their associated side channels - though there are some pay TV ones).

Additionally, VHS taps also had graphical variant that were different depending on the distributor. For instance, a Disney VHS's classificatioin bumper would look different to a TCFHE bumper, which would again look different to a CIC VIdeo bumper. A quick search for "VHS Opening Australia" will turn up plenty of hits that show this.

We should really get all these catalogued. PalZer0 (talk) 11:21, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

I would argue that bumpers on 9, 10, etc. should be given pages of their own, preferably subpages of their respective ID pages. VHS tape ones should also go with their respective companies. IMO, this page should ideally just list the generic ones created by the ACB and used in cinemas. Talk · Edits 11:28, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
Except the ACB didn't really create its own bumpers (unlike the MPAA) until 2005 with the current markings (and even then the bumpers they did make are only used in cinema trailers - though I have found them on YouTube). As an example, the images on the page were taken from old Foxtel Movies classification bumpers (which, again, would look different depending on the network the bumper was on).
