Background
Morinaga & Company, Ltd. (森永製菓株式会社, Morinaga Seika Kabushiki-gaisha) is a Japanese confectionery company, founded on August 15, 1899.
1st Logo (1967-1986)

Visuals: On a corner of the screen, we see the outline of a winged baby angel (also known as a putto) with his back turned. He then turns his head to look at the viewer.
Variants:
- At the beginning of commercials starting in the 1970s until 1986, an outlined version of the company's trademark logo (a circle with an angel carrying an 'M' within), appears in a corner of the screen, before fading out a few seconds later.
- On some commercials from the early 1980s, the angel is seen on a dark blue background, next to white texts reading: "ごちそうさま おくちを きれいに…", and "おいしく たのしく すこやかに".
Technique: Traditional animation.
Audio: A four-note whistle jingle.
Audio Variants: Depending on the commercial, the whistle may be at a different pitch or speed.
Availability: Seen on all Morinaga commercials for its confectionery counterpart from 1967 to 1986.
Legacy: The melody of the jingle used in this logo would later be used for future logos for the company, but sung as 'Morinaga'. An updated version of the angel would also be used for the 2005 logo.
2nd Logo (1986-1995)

Visuals: On a white background, an incomplete Morinaga logo zooms towards the screen at a fast pace, and while this happens, a bright light flashes in front of the 'M', causing the angel's face and wings to form. The logo then stops in the middle of the screen.
Variant: On commercials from 1987 to 1995, the logo may play in the top left corner of the screen, and a picture of the product previously advertised may be seen in a tilted angle that extends from the top right to bottom left corners of the screen. The product's price is also shown.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: A high-pitched three-note whistle tune, which strangely sounds similar to a barcode scanner.
Availability: Seen at the end of all Morinaga commercials from 1986 to 1995.

5th Logo (2022-present)

Visuals: On a white background, we see the current Morinaga logo in the middle of the screen. As the jingle plays, four red musical notes pop up above the logo and fade out, and on the last note, the logo's wordmark slightly pops up.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: A female voice singing "Morinaga".
Availability: Seen at the end of current Morinaga commercials.
