Brazil
1st Bumper (1994-1996 [1999 on Disney tapes]) (Abril Vídeo)
Visuals: On a gray/black gradient space background where stars (represented by dots) quickly fly by, a VHS cassette zooms in and stays for a while. Afterwards, the tape label flashes. Next, the tape label stops flashing and the end label flashes. The VHS cassette then pauses.
Variant:
- On Disney tapes, the end label stops flashing and the Mickey Mouse hologram zooms in for clarification. The gray bar on the front end is absent.
- On non-Disney tapes (primarily seen on Fox releases), the hologram is taken out as well as the Disney references.
- On other non-animated Disney releases (primarily seen on Touchstone releases), the hologram is replaced with a different one with a movie camera.
Technique: Very motion graphic animation.
Audio: The narrator says his lines while a calm synthesized pop tune plays in the background.
- Disney version: "Reconheça uma fita Disney legítima. Verifique a marca indelével na face superior, o selo da UBV na lombada e o holograma com o Mickey Feiticeiro."
- Non-Disney, mostly Fox version): "Reconheça uma fita legítima Abril Vídeo. Verifique a marca indelével com o nome do filme na face superior e o selo da UBV na lombada. Exija qualidade."
- Disney/Buena Vista version: "Reconheça uma fita legítima Abril Vídeo. Verifique a marca indelével com o nome do filme na face superior, o selo da UBV na lombada e o holograma que garante a qualidade Disney."
Availability: The normal variant is seen on tapes from the era, such as many Abril tapes. The Disney version is seen on Disney tapes such as Bambi, Aladdin, The Lion King, A Goofy Movie, and Toy Story. The Fox version can be spotted on many of their releases as well as other Abril releases, while the Touchstone version has been spotted in a Brazilian VHS release of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
2nd Bumper (1996-1999) (Abril Vídeo)
Visuals: On a misty light blue background, a green VHS tape (a recreation of the ones being used by Abril Vídeo during this time) zooms out fom the bottom of the screen and spins to the center until it stops in a tilted position facing upward. The center sticker with the movie title then zooms out into place and when it reaches the tape it flashes light blue. The UBV seal then does the same thing. The tape then says a bit more while the music and narrator finish.
Variant: As with the previous logo, a Buena Vista (Touchstone) version exists where an additional hologram is added with a different camera illustration.
Technique: CGI for the time.
Audio: A dramatic synth orchestra-style tune plays while the narrator says one of the following. The music ends earlier in the Buena Vista version than it does in the other variant.
- Abril Vídeo version, mostly Fox releases: "Reconheça uma fita legítima Abril Vídeo. Ela é verde, tem estampado o nome do filme na face superior e este selo da UBV na lombada. Exija qualidade."
- Buena Vista/Touchstone version: "Reconheça uma fita legítima Abril Vídeo. Ela é verde, tem estampado o nome do filme na face superior, o selo da UBV na lombada e este holograma, que garante a qualidade Disney. Exija qualidade."
Availability: The Fox tapes version has been spotted in releases such as Anastasia, Casper and Wendy, FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue and others. It is unknown where the Buena Vista/Touchstone variant has been sighted.
3rd Bumper (Early 2000s-2005) (União Brasileira de Vídeo)
Visuals: On a black background, the red word "ATENÇÃO!" suddenly falls into frame, then it stays for a bit before fading out. After that, the screen fades onto a futuristic room with a silver ceiling and floor, with various lights on the walls and what seems to be a conveyor belt on the floor, with a silver door formed by four triangular shapes being seen in the front. Two metallic shapes then appear, forming a sort of holographic monitor with the UBV logo used at the time as the conveyor belt moves towards the door.
