In 2005, the company merged with Namco to form Namco Bandai Holdings. Since then, Bandai (under the Bandai Namco group) has been a company focused on toys, collectibles, prizes and stationary while many of the other companies that were previously under them were bought under the Namco Bandai umbrella and later consolidated, restructured and/or renamed themselves.
