Background
BBC Wales (or more formally, BBC Cymru Wales) is a division of the BBC, that was established in 1961. The first broadcast in Wales, however, was in 1925.
1st Logo (1961-1974)
This logo is currently missing in action. Please do not add reconstructions of the logo if any exist, as they are likely not accurate to the actual logo. Additionally, do not attempt to add a finalized description of the logo until it has been found in its entirety. |

2nd Logo (1974-1991)
Visuals: On a black background we see two lines separated in two colors: green and red (the colors of the Welsh flag). They intertwine with each other, forming into a clover like shape. Text at the bottom that says “BBC CYMRU” fades in.
Technique: Traditional animation.
Audio: A fanfare like jingle with bells.
3rd Logo (1982-1985)
Visuals: On a blue background we see a lined map of Wales. Under it is text that says in a lined font: “BBC CYMRU”.
Technique: BBC computers.
