1st Logo (1995?-2002)

Logo: A white outline of a rhombus is drawn by a light dot. The word "D/\VIS" flies into the logo. "FILMS" flashes in below. A blue whirlwind is seen behind the logo.

FX/SFX: The box, the letters, the whirlwind.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Unknown. Most films produced by Davis at the time often skipped this logo. It possibly appeared on the original release of Crying Freeman, but newer DVDs remove it. Saved at the end of Sueurs.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (March 12, 2002-)

Logo: Against a brown-green-blue gradient sky, the same logo from before flies in, while "D/\\/IS" flies in, letter by letter. A red box with "FILMS" in it fades in.

FX/SFX: The logo flying in, the letters, the box.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Variants:

  • There is a metallic version zooming in through a ton of clouds that snow.
  • There is a short version where some parts of the logo are cut.
  • A version for Impact Canada exists. The logo already has "D/\VIS" on it, and another rhombus with "IMP/\CT CANADA" on it is conjoined with the "D/\VIS" rhombus.
  • A closing print version exists on Resident Evil: Extinction.

Availability: The regular version is seen on Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Extinction and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. The shortened animation appeared on Domino. The "IMP/\CT CANADA" version appears on Resident Evil: Apocalypse. The metallic version is spotted on Silent Hill.

Editor's Note: Same as the previous logo.
