Background

This was a short-lived joint venture between Davidson & Associates and Simon & Schuster Interactive.

Logo (1995-1997)


Visuals: On a dark blue background, a yellow rectangle and a gray rectangle, which slowly turns to purple, fly onto the screen and spin towards each other. The rectangles then come towards the screen and stop spinning, with the corner of the yellow rectangle overlapping the purple one. The yellow rectangle has the Davidson logo on it, while the purple one has the Simon & Schuster logo on it. The logo flashes.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A twinkling synth that ends in a dramatic orchestral hit.

Availability: Seen on a handful of games, including Multimedia Players Present: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Typing Tutor, Extreme Chess, and Maurice Ashley Teaches Chess. It can also be seen on the venture's product demo, which can be seen on other Davidson games of the time. Not seen on the main portion of Money Town.
