David Wickes Television

Background

This is David Wickes' vanity card.

1st Logo (January 6, 1990-December 29, 1992)

Visuals: On a black background, a rainbow then wipes in. Then we see the word "PRODUCED BY" on top and then there is "DAVID WICKES TV LTD" on the bottom. Between the two words, there is the word "Wickes" written in, in David Wickes' signature, then a spark dots the "i" in "Wickes".

Variant: A later version exists where after the rainbow wipes in, there is the word "A David Wickes PRODUCTION", with "David Wickes" already written, and in script form.

Technique: The rainbow wiping, the text writing. [possible misuse]

Audio: The end theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on the two TV movies, Jekyll and Hyde and Frankenstein.

2nd Logo (September 19-December 19, 1999)

Visuals: On a blurry blue. green and black swirl background, a large set of blurry circles move and zoom in. The black word "DWTV" in a Serpentine font, zooms in with a white glow, and then there is the word "PRODUCTION" in a Bank Gothic font fade in below. The circles continue to move, and then the background then zooms out.

Technique: The blurry background, the text zooming and the circles moving. [possible misuse]

Audio: A whoosh, then an eternal synth note.

Availability: Seen on CI5: The New Professionals, which was kept intact on DVD.
