Bumper (1998-2002)
Visuals: On a blue/black gradient background, there is a white flash and the white/blue gradient words "Coming Soon" or "Feature Presentation" in italics quickly zoom out. Then a white outline of the words slowly zooms in.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A whoosh was heard, followed by a harsh bang and a synth fanfare that sounds similar to the 1983 FHE logo. A male announcer says "Coming soon at Blockbuster!" or "And now, our feature presentation!"
