Background

In 1993, Hanna-Barbera Poland was separated and was re-incorporated as Curtis Art Productions, but continued to release Hanna-Barbera VHS releases under license from Turner Entertainment Co.

Logo (1993-1998?)

Visuals: The logo starts with the outside view of Curtis Market, as the camera zooms in to where the windows are, after which it frame-freezes. It then fades to an gray-white gradient as an weird abstract-like square zooms in from the bottom right of the screen to the center of the screen, with the block consisting two white triangles at the upper right, a red triangle in between the upper right and left, a white circle in the bottom left and a white square in the bottom right with a small green square inside of it. Then the following words zoom in to the bottom of the square:

CURTIS ART PRODUCTIONS

After a bit, it fades to a gray background with Hanna-Barbera below in the same font as the cursive "script" font first introduced in 1987. Above it is:

przedstawia filmy
wytworni

Then it fades to a sign reading the following:

ul. Domaniewska 39a

tel./fax 48-72-71

fax 47-30-08

tel. 48-71-00 wew. 29-51

After a few seconds, it fades to the warning screen.

Variants:

  • On later releases, the 3rd screen with the sign is on a baby blue background with the text in italics.
  • An variant was used from around 1995-1998 where some of the screens were altered, it starts as normal with the live-action footage, until the 3rd screen appears in the style of a page flip, with the screen now being colored Pineapple, the Curtis Arts Productions Screen then appears page flipping but looks different with the background now white, with the abstract-like square bigger and the text is smaller, it then gets cut away into pieces as it fades to the 2nd screen, it then dissolves into the Warning Screen, it then finally fades to a Ocean Green/Blue Background.
  • Sometimes, it only shows a still shot of the Curtis Art Productions logo.

Technique: CGI, with live-action and cel animation for the footage of the Curtis Market.

Audio: Same as the 1st Hanna-Barbera Poland Logo.

Availability: Czołówka i tyłówka bloku Godzina z Hanna-Barberą for an example has the later release variant. It's unknown what releases contains the 1st or 3rd variants. Seen on Hanna-Barbera home video releases in Poland. It is believed to been last seen in 1995.
