Background

Crazyrose is the production company of Nathan Ross and Jean-Marc Vallée, founded in 2018 as a full-service company that will develop, finance and produce original content. They inked a first-look deal with the Endeavor Content-owned Bloom, the outfit run by Alex Walton and Ken Kao. In April 2021, the company entered into a three-year first-look deal with HBO and HBO Max. Jean-Marc Vallée later died on December 25, 2021 at the age of 58, leaving Nathan Ross as the sole owner of the company.
