Background

Concorde TV is a Norwegian television production company founded in 2012 by brothers Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker, best known as the comedy duo Ylvis.

Logo (9 September 2012-)

Visuals: The sequence starts in a dark environment consisting of several rows of prepubescent girls typewriting. The camera focuses on one in particular, who, after typing a few letters off-screen, focuses her attention to the screen, telling the viewer "We did our best!". Then, the screen quickly zooms away from the scene where a rusty vault door closes, revealing "CONCORDE" overlapping with two circular outlines comprised of tube boxes. Within these circles as well as underneath the company name is "TELEVISION" in a small size.

Variant: On the company's Facebook page, the logo is in a looping sequence. When the logo finishes, it reverses back to the same scene before forwarding back to normal. This repeats for the whole sequence.

Technique: Live-action and CGI.

Audio: It starts with several typewriter sounds before the girl shouts her dialogue. Afterwards, there is the sound of a vault closing loudly and a deep voice saying the company name.

Availability: It first appeared on the second season of I kveld med YLVIS and would be used on most programs they have produced since, which includes Stories from Norway, Kongen befaler (the Norwegian adaptation of Taskmaster), among others. They can be found on their respective channel's websites or streaming services, notably NRK
