Background

Complete Entertainment, Inc. was a home video distributor that distributed horror films between 1987 and 1991.

Logo (1987-1991)

Visuals: There is a shot of the city skyline. The camera moves down to see mountains over a blue gradient night sky with a globe on top. One of the skylines sparkle, and a light moves, and the word "COMPLETE" in red with a red line on top, slides in from the left and a box with "entertainment inc." cut-out, slides in from the right. The logo freezes, and then the logo plays in reverse.

Technique: Panning and sliding effects.

Audio: A 1980s-esque synthesizer warbling theme, with a ding and a whoosh sound with drum beats that end with a 8-bit-like synth theme when the logo reverses.

Availability: Seen on old VHS releases of horror movies. Check eBay or a thrift store for details.
