Background

Chuckimation Productions (doing business as Chuckimation) was a company possibly based in the US that made a series called Action League Now! for Nickelodeon's KaBlam! and All That, and later a full-fledged series of the same title. The name is a combination of stop-frame animation and live-action shots where things are simply thrown ("chucked") or dropped into frame to simulate movement, and wiggled around to simulate talking.

Logo (November 25, 2001-February 10, 2002)

Visuals: On a starry night is the text "FILMED IN" in a normal font. Underneath is the text "CHUCKIMATION" (in a superhero-like font) sitting on a mountain. Suddenly, the Flesh from the show is thrown at the rock, leaving only the "FILMED IN" text. While all this happens, a faint spotlight is moving on the rock.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: A dreamy sci-fi like tune plays thoughout the entire logo. Scott Paulsen (the announcer from the show) is also heard saying "Filmed in Chuckimation." When the letters and rock get knocked over by the Flesh, a bowling strike noise is heard, followed by the Flesh (voiced by Jim Krenn) saying "Ouchies!"

Availability: Only seen on Action League Now!, which can be viewed on Paramount+.

Legacy: For a short lived series, this logo is pretty funny and quite unique.
