Background

ChatON was a global mobile communication service provided by Samsung Electronics. It was launched on October 14, 2011, and was available for Android, iOS, Blackberry, Windows Phone, Windows Mobile, and Bada smartphones, serving more than 120 countries in 62 languages.

On March 31, 2015, the service was discontinued in all markets.

Screen (2012-2015)

Visuals: On a sky blue gradient background, there is an orange speech bubble with a sky blue tint at the bottom of it. At the bottom of the screen is copyright info, reading: Copyright © 2012 Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.

Variant: A later variant of the screen features the speech bubble completely colored orange, aside from the "C" on it. The top of the bubble also emits light, and the background is slightly brighter.

Technique: A still, digital image.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen when you open the ChatON app on a Samsung tablet or a phone.
