Background

21st Century Films is a production company formed in 2014 by Stephen La Rivière, originally named "Pod 4 Films" (based on the pod of the same name from Thunderbirds) before renaming themselves to their current name in 2017. Their work has involved the original Gerry Anderson Thunderbirds series as a basis, as well as their own projects.

Logo (2018-)

Visuals: The screen fades in to a blue background with faint ripples coming towards the screen, and a "3D" number 21 colored red and white, while facing the right, zooms out. As it zooms out, a red ring comes in to wipe away the ripples outside it as the ripples open up at the upper right to create a C shape, as well as slowly turning white. A red "rocket" made with 2 uneven-looking triangles" comes in from the right and passes right through the ring. The logo eventually freezes, leaving 4 ripples, and also causes a white arch to appear around the logo with the rocket piercing through it. "CENTURY 21 FILMS", in a white Microgramma Bold font, fades in below.

Variant: The logo comes in 2 screen sizes, 4:3 and 16:9. The latter appears on trailers of some of their works.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A generic "flying UFO" sound plays in the background the whole time, with the sounds of a speeding rocket engine when the "rocket" flies in.

Availability: Can be seen on Nebula-75 and several other videos on their Youtube channel.

Legacy: A cool throwback to the Century 21 logo and old 60's logos in general.
