Background
CMP is a videoke distributor in Singapore.
1st Logo (1987-1996)
Visuals: On a space background, a red segmented C with a green M and blue P jumps to the center of the screen and then zooms in to take up it. It zooms out and the text "新雅（国际）影碟私人有限公司" and "CMP (INTERNATIONAL) LASER PTE LTD" appears below.

Audio: A funky tune with a laser sound in sync with the words fading in.
