CBC Kids (formerly known as Kids' CBC) is a children's TV programming block on CBC Television.

Kids' CBC

Logo (2003-December 2016)

Visuals: On a white background, there is the CBC logo, but the circle is removed, and there are 2 dots as eyes and a smiling mouth where it would usually be. Below this is the text "kids' CBC", with "kids'" in a thin blue font with no dot on the "i" and "CBC" in black in the normal CBC logo font.

Variants:

  • An in-credit version exists.
  • On Artzooka, the text "Developed and Produced in Association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation" is seen above the logo.
  • On some airings of Big Block Singsong, the logo is in white on a black background, with the text "Produced in association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation" below, along with a credit for the creative head of kids programming. Another variant of this has a much smaller version of the logo below the block from the episode, with the additional text to the right of the logo.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The end theme of the show.

Availability: It was seen on some shows made by the company, such as Artzooka.

CBC Kids

1st Logo (January 2, 2017-)

Visuals: On a white background, a sketchy rendition of the 1974 CBC logo is formed by swirling blobs and with the smiley face from before. Below, "CBC Kids" is formed from some of the blobs. The logo squats once, while "Produced in association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation", along with the year of production appears below the logo.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on kids shows by CBC, like Dot.

2nd Logo (2018?-)

Visuals: On a white background, there is the CBC Kids logo spin in, with the 2017 CBC Kids icon appearing first, then the "CBC Kids" text, and finally the text

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
©[year]

The face from the icon winks.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None or the ending theme.

Availability: Seen on kids shows by CBC, like Yolanda Hill.
