Background

BriteSpark Films is a production company founded in early 2013 as a joint venture between executive producer Nick Godwin and Argonon. Five years later, the latter took full control of the company.

1st Logo (March 7, 2014-)

Visuals: The text "BriteSparkfilms" rise in one at a time. Simultaneously, the light burst flashes and sparks, replacing the "i"'s dot. After all of this, the byline fades in.

Bylines:

  • 2014-2022: "Argonon"
  • 2022: "Part of the ARGONON GROUP"

Variants:

  • A still version exists.
  • Programmes filmed in either the company's western and eastern divisions add the word "West" and "East" next to the logo respectively.
  • On Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords, the byline is monochromatic.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A magical sting with a bass note.

Availability: Seen on early series of Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords, Left for Dead, World's Most Scenic River Journeys, and Worlds Most Scenic River Journeys.

2nd Logo (July 24, 2014-)

Visuals: A white burst emerges, releasing small light particles. Then, the text from before (with the logo now in white) flies in from the left and zooms out, resting with the "i" in "Brite" underneath the light burst. After all of this, the byline fades in.

Bylines:

  • 2014-2022: "Argonon"
  • 2022: "Part of the ARGONON GROUP"

Variant: On series 3 of Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords, the logo is in the same colors as the previous logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as before but with faint sparkling.

Availability: Can be seen on Diamond Geezers and Gold Dealers, Manchester's Serial Killer, early series of World's Most Scenic Railway Journeys, among others.
