Nicknames: "The Searchlights", "Breakthrough Searchlights"

Logo: Against a gradient background with the top half dark blue and the bottom half light blue, we see some crudely drawn trees in the bottom left corner and four searchlights at each side of the screen. Above, we see the stylized dark blue text with white outline that reads "BREAKTHROUGH" in a '30s Art Deco font. The URL www.breakthrough.com is seen in the bottom right corner in smaller lettering.

3rd Logo

(August 29, 2004-January 29, 2008)

Nickname: "The White Square"

Logo: On a black background, an unfinished square with rounded edges appears, with the bottom left corner open. The big text "Breakthrough" is seen below the square and the small text "FILMS AND TELEVISION" under it. The company's website is written below.

4th Logo

(2004- )

Nickname: "The Green Square"

Logo: On a white background, a green outline of a square with rounded edges and the bottom left corner unfinished is drawn in, which is big enough to fill the screen. When finished, a smaller version of the square with the text "Breakthrough" below the square and the small green text "FILMS AND TELEVISION" zooming in slowly below "Breakthrough" fades in. The big square fades out as this happens. Then, the logo fades out.

Variants:

  • For the logo’s later uses, "FILMS AND TELEVISION" is replaced with "ENTERTAINMENT".
  • On Pirate Express, a still, in-credit version is used.

FX/SFX: The big square drawing itself and fading out, the logo appearing, and "FILMS AND TELEVISION" zooming in. Simple but effective animation.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Current; appears on Kenny vs. Spenny (5th and 6th seasons), Captain Flamingo and Jimmy Two-Shoes, The Adventures Of Napkin Man!, Rocket Monkeys, among other shows produced by Breakthrough since 2004.
