Background

This is the alias of independent game developer Bart Bonte.

1st Logo (December 20, 2010-December 16, 2013)

Visuals: The rabbit from the Full Moon game is standing on a grassy surface within a white circle. Underneath it is the developer name in lowercase and white.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the logo appears on the title screen of the game.
  • On Factory Balls: The Christmas Edition, ".com" is added after the text.
  • On Sugar Sugar 2, the text is rewritten to read "a Bart Bonte game" in a stacked format. The former and latter word are left and right aligned to Bart Bonte's name.
    • A Bonte Christmas has the text in a small format.
  • On A Blocky Christmas, the logo is on the left and "presents" is added underneath. Next to it are three horizontal blocks shaded different tones of green. A light green block with a gold star falls and lands in the center of the top horizontal block.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None or the game's background music.

Audio Variant: On A Blocky Christmas, when the block with the star lands on the stack, a three-note ascending synth sting plays.

Availability: It was seen on a few games from this period starting with Factory Balls: The Christmas Edition and last appearing on A Blocky Christmas. Before the end of Flash, making the games more difficult to find online, several games such as Me and the Key 3 have no logo before or during the title screen. Some Flash gaming websites such as Armor Games and Addicting Games have this logo intact, but others (e.g. Yepi) removed it. It was also removed on newer versions of Factory Balls 4.

2nd Logo (November 2014-December 6, 2016)

Visuals: Three penguins from Me and the Key 3 are peeking up within a dodger blue circle, the middle of which has its nose partly visible. Underneath it is the text from the Sugar Sugar 2 variant of the previous logo.

Variant: On the mobile version of Blocky Xmas, the text is replaced with "bontegames.com presents". Plus, the penguins can be seen blinking.

Technique: A still, digital graphic. 2D animation for the Blocky Xmas variant.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Sweet Drmzzz, Where is Cat?, and Blocky Xmas both online and their mobile ports. It also appeared on their respective trailers.

3rd Logo (October 23, 2017-June 4, 2020)

Visuals: A gray ball wearing cyan and magenta shaded glasses with a white afro-like hat is on top of the text from before but without "a" and "game" is plural. A play button is added underneath the logo.

Variants:

  • On Boo!, the glasses are yellow, its shades are black, the ball is orange, and the hat is maroon, blue and white.
  • On Words for a Bird, the logo is almost similar to the above variant but with the hat mostly in olive. Plus, the text is in a serif font.
  • A white background variant exists.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Can be seen on newer versions of Pixels for Christmas, Boo! (its first appearance), Factory Balls Forever, and lastly, Words For a Bird.

4th Logo (October 2021)

Visuals: On a gold background, "BART" in a small size is on top of a large, spaced out "BONTE".

Technique: A still, digital graphic.
