Background

Boat Rocker Media is a Canadian entertainment company, based in Toronto, Ontario. The company owns Boat Rocker Studios, which incorporates Temple Street Productions. Its majority shareholder is Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. Boat Rocker Media is led by co-executive chairs David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg and CEO John Young.

Boat Rocker produces and distributes a wide range of scripted and unscripted television shows, animation and family content, such as Invasion, American Rust, Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, Orphan Black, and Dino Ranch.

Boat Rocker owns other entertainment properties, including Jam Filled EntertainmentInsight Productions, Matador Content and Platform One Media, and does talent management and venture investing.

1st Logo (2013-2021)

Nickname: "A Neptune Riding with a Horse"

Logo: On a space background, we see the planet Earth eclipsed with a shine effect and rotates to the gold emblem-like logo with Neptune riding with a horse and the text says "INTEGRITAS" and "IMAGINATI CREATIO" in white text. Then, it changes to white and it turns into 2D. On the bottom, the text says "BOAT ROCKER MEDIA" in white.

Nickname: "Golden BR Emblem"

Logo: On a black background, we see the golden circle emblem labeled with 2 letters joined together. On the bottom is the text says "BOAT ROCKER STUDIOS" in gold.
