Background

Billionfold, Inc. is the production company of Butch Hartman, creator of the Nickelodeon shows The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, T.U.F.F. Puppy, and Bunsen is a Beast, as well as the YouTube webseries HobbyKids Adventures. The company didn't use a logo until 2004, when Danny Phantom debuted. On February 8, 2018, Hartman announced on his Twitter and YouTube accounts that he had left Nickelodeon as of February 2nd after his 20-year run on the network, resulting in Bunsen is a Beast, his last show for the network, being cancelled two days later. However, in February 2021, it was announced that Hartman would be returning to Nickelodeon as a producer of a live-action/animated sequel to The Fairly OddParents titled The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder. The series premiered on Paramount+ on March 31, 2022, but was later removed from the streaming service and Nickelodeon's official website that following January, presumably due to the failure of the series.

Logo (April 3, 2004-)

Visuals: On a white background with a light teal trapezoid shape, there is a drawing of Butch Hartman as a superhero, wearing a suit that's somewhat similar to Superman's, but purple with black briefs, yellow boots and a cursive red "B" in front of a yellow circle where the "S" is supposed to go. Butch's cape extends out to reveal the words "BILLIONFOLD INC." written on it.

Trivia: The logo was produced in 2003, along with the first season of Danny Phantom (on which this logo made its debut), with the Nickelodeon Animation Studio logo following this one having a 2003 copyright date on the aforementioned episodes.

Variants:

  • On Butch Hartman's video of the Nicktoons Unite parody trailer to the 2017 film Justice League, the logo is modified with Butch wearing a different suit, in a style of Superman's suit from the DC Extended Universe films. Also, the background is black, and the trapezoid shape is absent.
  • A true 16:9 version exists.

Technique: Digitalized drawing with cel-shaded CGI for the cape.

Audio: A loud "heroic" fanfare (composed by Guy Moon, who did the score for all four of Hartman's shows) accompanied by a chorus loudly singing "BILLIONFOLD!", followed by a Road Runner-like voice uttering "inc!"

Audio Variants:

  • On seasons 2-3 of Danny Phantom, the logo's audio plays with the end credits theme.
  • On The Fairly OddParents episode, "Open Wide & Say Ahhh/Odd Pirates" and A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!, the ending theme of the show/movie respectively plays over it. Oddly enough, the Latin American Spanish dub of the former actually has the logo's audio, implying the former's case is a post-production error that made it to the broadcast copy.
  • On the French iTunes print of the Danny Phantom episode "Memory Blank" (S02E01), the audio is slightly high toned.
  • Similarly, on the iTunes France print of the said show's episodes "The Ultimate Enemy, Parts 1 and 2", the audio is low toned.
  • On 2009-2014 airings of Season 6 and later episodes of The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom with the split-screen credits, later episodes of Bunsen is a Beast episodes with the 2017 Nickelodeon Productions logo, The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder and The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish, the "Inc!" Soundd effect has been removed.
  • On the Arabic dub of The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder, the chorus is absent.
  • Also, on the last shown video source, the voice-over is absent and is also sped up.

Availability: First introduced with Danny Phantom and later incorporated onto episodes of The Fairly OddParents beginning with season 6.

  • It also appears on T.U.F.F. Puppy, the Fairly Odd Movie trilogy, the Nicktoons Unite parody trailer to the 2017 film Justice League, Bunsen is a Beast, HobbyKids Adventures, The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder, and The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish.

Legacy: It's a well remembered logo amongst fans of Butch Hartman's works, though Hartman's controversies since his initial departure from Nickelodeon have tainted its reputation for some.
