Background

Backyard Enterprises, Inc (formerly Backyard Productions) was an American company founded in 1985 by Amy Weintraub and Brooks McEwan that focused on creating children’s entertainment straight-to-video releases.

1st Logo (1992-1994)

Visuals: On a gray background, there's a photograph of a computer desk in a green grassy backyard with a white fence, a light gray background, and the objects casting shadows. The stacked text "Backyard Productions" is then written in a dark pink Brush Script MT font, at the top and bottom of the photo.

Technique: 2D cel animation.

Audio: The end theme of the program or none.

Availability: Found on pre-1994 releases of the Tales and Tunes series.

2nd Logo (1994-September 25, 2001)

Visuals: There is a picture of a white fence in the foreground with pink flowers growing on it, which is placed behind a panorama full of trees and houses, including one with a TV aerial. All of the panorama casts a blue shadow in a sunset sky. The word "BACKYARD", in a orange-yellow gradient and blocky font with "PRODUCTIONS" below in spaced out lettering, is placed on the fence.

Technique: Still photography with composition techniques and CGI.

Audio: Same as before.

Availability: Found on post-1994 releases of the Baby Songs and Tales and Tunes series.
